You should see a little box in the bottom right of the screen once the graphical system (X) loads up. The button with drive label (probably 'cdrom' to start with) will skip through available drives, and the button below it will mount the selected drive. Your Windows system is most likely hda1.
If you can mount hda1 successfully, the files on it can be accessed in /mnt/hda1. Emelfm is the default file manager, and should open in /ramdisk/home/dsl, or just /home/dsl. Click the ../ at the top of the file list to go up a level. When you reach / you are at the top, and you should see /mnt listed in that directory.
