Hello forum. I am trying to run realplayer 10 with dsl 0.9.0.2. So I found out that I need gtk2.dsl, atk 1.0, and pango 1.0. Ok, first of all, sorry for the noobness of my inquiries. That being said, I'll begin. I went to "Get" gtk2.dsl from myDSL, so I guess that installed it. Next, I downloaded Atk 1.0.0.tar.bz2 to /home/dsl and unpacked it to /home/dsl/atk 1.0. Then I went to bash and cd to /home/dsl/atk 1.0. Once there, I ran the command ./configure, as it says to in the atk insall file. I get an error at the end of configure and it doesn't work.
code:
checking for a BSD compatible install.../usr/bin/install -c checking whether build environment is sane...yes checking whether make sets ${MAKE}...no checking for working aclocal...missing checking for working autoconf...missing checking for working automake...missing checking for working autoheader...missing checking for working makeinfo...missing checking for gcc...no checking for cc...no checking for cc...no checking for cl...no configure: error: no acceptable cc found in $PATH
end code
The same thing happens with pango. Ok, just 3 more small things. Is there a way to copy and paste from bash to whereever? I painfully read and wrote the code from bash to this post. Arg! Also, do I have to re "Get" gtk2.dsl from myDSL upon ever reboot? Lastly, how can I evable my mouse scroller? Well, any suggestions to this stuff would be awesome. thanks in advance.
