Anyone have any further info on this, or any opinions?

I'm thinking this thing would rock with DSL.

Walmart

Gotta hand it to WalMart. They are tapping into Linux and touting the "no M$ viruses" blah blah. Say what you want but they have a very large audience and a desktop PC for under $200 will be very tempting to alot of people.

Not sure if the video is nvidia or not. The processor appears to be decent but the RAM could be a little better. $200 + a few bucks for additional ram would create a smoking DSL system.

That is hilarious. I was on newegg doing the exact same thing!  :D

I was curious on how good a deal this was. For about $50 more you can get an Abit nforce board (wihout video) and an nvidia mx4000 64mb card. If you had a resellers license this would probably be cheaper yet.

If all you are going to do is internet and email then I spose this would be an OK computer.  Heck, a setup like that would run DSL very well.  If DSL runs great on a 200Mhz that I have, I'm sure it would run well on a 1.5Ghz :)

I think it would be more fun to put it together yourself, via Newegg though.  :D
