I downloaded some .dsl's and put them in my xp partition, and I tried run program but that dosent work (after browsing to mnt/hda5/...)

What am I supposed to do to get them running?

if they are not added to your disk they cannot be automatically detected....
mount the partition open emelfm enter the partition in emelfm highlight the file copy to /home/dsl/ highlight the copied one in /home/dsl/whateverfile.dsl press the mydsl button in emelfm and then it will load!!!!!........

after copying them to /home/dsl/ it still dosent work.

And at the bottom of emf it says something about an error gzip magic.

try a different .dsl or reget the one you have last time this was posted it was a bad download...........
as there shouldn't be a problem, have a look at the permissions on the file, sometimes moving them around makes them change..... but likely a bad download.
