Good story!
If I actually had any ducklings, I'd read it to
them at bedtime!
I've tried to "force" DSL onto people, and it
goes nowhere.
You need an enquiring mind.
The chief engineer came in the other day,
noticed a pair of webbed feet on the desk,
and a penguin on the desktop,
and said "Ooooh, thats Linux!"..rather shrewdly.
I showed him what it did, and gave him a copy
later.He actually came in for a "free Iridium antenna",
and I promised to look in an old ARRL handbook
one day.Didn't promise to actually make anything...
rather shrewdly.
He mumbled something about a P75.....
and sixteen "other computers at home".
We'll see how he goes......
I have a sinking feeling he'll be introducing me to
some of his PCs in the near future.
