Hi,
I am completely a newbie with linux os, but I am very interested in upgrading my todhiba libretto 50 ct (comes with 16 mb ram). But I have a problem, the unit came just with a port replicator and not even a floppy or cd drive. So, how can I boot the damn linux on it? I have thought doing it by using a cf card or microdrive attach to a pcmcia adapter, would it work? Or should I put the libretto's hd i another laptop and boot from it?
Sorry, but I have too many questions. After getting the damn linux running on my libretto, would recognise a hitachi hard drive o a 512 MB cf card, an ethernet cf card or even a wireless cf card? Is there any equivalente to the power point software on this OS? What files do I have to download from the download section?
Maybe some of the questions are silly ones, but as I have said above I am new on linux.
Thanks for your help,
Cheers,
Xavier
