Yes! DSL is based on the runit build of antiX 23. Runit is an alternative init systems.

It's a dependency if you want to install Snap. I realized that using Snap would be the easiest way to install Omxplayer but then I saw that the development stopped in 2020. I know that systemd maybe would cause problems with init so anyway I don't see any need of systemd being installed to DSL anymore. Just wanted to explain the matter a little.
