User talk:Wiki Master
From DSL Wiki
Sorry to ask this to you, but the forums say "Permission denied". I cannot find any reason whatsoever for this, and I have waited for a long time now to see if may be my login is in some kind of "waiting list".
Even the wiki page (Forum Substitute) is dead. It would be nice to know if there is absolutely anything that I can do to get the permission to post.
<rant
This is the most annoying thing I have ever seen, for something that is run by "community".

Category:Español
I've added [[Category:Español]] to
http://damnsmalllinux.org/wiki/index.php/Adding_Icons_to_the_Desktop-es
and other articles, which ends up linking to
http://damnsmalllinux.org/wiki/index.php?title=Category:Espa%C3%B1ol&action=edit
How do we get rid of the "&action=edit" at the end of that link?

Did you make some change or did the server automagically determine that the Category:Espa%C3%B1ol article had been edited? The references all now point to the Category page without the "&action=edit" ending on the link.

Interlanguage links
I count 276 articles referenced on
http://damnsmalllinux.org/wiki/index.php/Special:Allpages.
According to http://damnsmalllinux.org/wiki/index.php/Category:Espa%C3%B1ol, there are 62 Spanish language articles. And according to
http://damnsmalllinux.org/wiki/index.php/Category:Deutsche_Artikel, there are 33 German language articles.
According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Interlanguage_links, there is something called interlanguage links of the form [[language code:Title]]. My guess is they reach across domain names to the equivalent article in the other domain.
In light of the number of non-English language articles being produced, perhaps it is time to try to implement language domains for the Damn Small Linux (DSL) Wiki.

Moderator nomination
Hi. Just want to respectfully suggest to you to consider inviting Fioddor to become an official moderator. Seems he is in fact who mostly takes care of the wiki in the everyday aspect of things. --Captain Chaos 19 November 2009 01:06 (UTC)
